Top 7 Marketing Cloud Resources You Need to Bookmark

Learning Salesforce Marketing Cloud can be difficult.

There aren't a lot of resources to help you on your journey.

If you find something online, it's hard to know if it's a quality source of information.

Luckily, I compiled a list of Marketing Cloud resources that I use in my day-to-day life.

With that said, here are the Top 7 Marketing Cloud websites I go back to (Time and time again).

Marketing Cloud Resources

Resource # 1

Ivan Razine is a master of AMPscript and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS).

If you're doing anything custom in Marketing Cloud (which most of us are), then his website is going to pop up on your list more than once.

From the looks of his website, Ivan has seen it all.

I go to his website all the time (even when I just want to learn something new).

Resource # 2

Yes, MinuteAdmin is my website.

Everything I learn is taught on the MinuteAdmin website in one form or another.

Whether it's a:

  • Video

  • Blog post

  • or Podcast

If I learn something new, I teach it on MinuteAdmin (and I come back to it for reference).

Resource # 3

I love how this website has step-by-step instructions for complex solutions in Marketing Cloud.

Not many websites provide instructions in an easy-to-follow format like this one.

Some tutorials on this website are simple.

But a lot of the tutorials cover complex topics in Marketing Cloud.

And that's what I respect the most about this website.

The author, Zuzanna Jarcynska isn't afraid to get DETAILED.

And I respect that so much.

Look at some of Zuzanna's articles here, and you'll see how detailed each tutorial can get.

Resource # 4

Nobuyuki's blog posts help me with complex issues in Marketing Cloud.

Things can get VERY technical in Marketing Cloud.

Sometimes, you need advice from someone who has been there and done that.

Nobuyuki is a guy that has seen A LOT of scenarios in Marketing Cloud.

He talks about things that not even Salesforce talks about.

I was trying to solve a problem for Failed Journey Builder sends, and this article by Nobuyuki helped me figure out what to do next.

If it weren't for his Medium blog, I would have spent WAY more time searching for the answer I was looking for.

Thanks, Nobuyuki!

Resource # 5

I can't tell you how many times I use the Salesforce Stack Exchange.

It's a daily thing.

When I do a Marketing Cloud Google search, I end up on the Stack Exchange.

Whether it's to find an answer (or to verify one).

Either way, the Stack Exchange has become a go-to resource for me.

Most of the responses show me what to do (and NOT to do) in Marketing Cloud.

Resource # 6

Cameron is as legit as it gets.

Almost everything I've learned in AMPscript has come from him.

I've attached his YouTube channel because it's been the most helpful for me.

Almost anytime I'm stuck with AMPscript, I look up his YouTube channel.

He has an example for pretty much every single AMPscript situation you'll find yourself in.

Cameron, if you're reading this... Thank you!

Resource # 7

It goes without saying that the official Help Docs for Marketing Cloud are a time saver.

When I face a coding issue in Marketing Cloud, I rely on the official Marketing Cloud Developer help docs for help.

If you want to learn the fundamentals of Marketing Cloud coding languages, you can use the official help docs.

I've finally learned what Function Parameters are in coding.

That was something I struggled with for a long time, but I kept with it.

And it's all thanks to the official Marketing Cloud help docs.

Conclusion

I use these 7 resources every time I get stuck in Marketing Cloud.

These resources help me solve difficult problems in Marketing Cloud.

There are other valuable Marketing Cloud websites out there.

But I go back to these 7 resources most of the time.

If a Marketing Cloud website has helped you (and I didn't include it), let me know in the comments below.

Until next time,
